IATA - Slot Handback Deadline S12Slot Handback Deadline will be January 15th, 2012
As per WSG 6.10.3 Series of slots that an airline does not intend to operate during Summer 2012 scheduling period, must be returned to the coordinator no later than the IATA Slot Hand Back Deadline set on January15th, 2012.
Series returned to the coordinators will be reallocated by coordinators taking into account the outstanding requests on file.
To avoid fragmentation of schedules at the time of the slot hand back deadline, public holiday cancellations should ideally, be made, AFTER January 15th, but BEFORE the start of the use it or lose it calculation reference date on January 31st, 2012.
